Cape Kidnappers – Designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, the Cape Kidnappers par 71 golf course measures 7,119 yards (6,510 meters) and will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Completed in 2004, our spectacular New Zealand golf course has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf. Built on a ridge-and-valley landscape and with stunning sea views, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course plays high above the ocean atop dramatic cliffs. With cliff-edge fairways perched 140 metres above sea level and with surface that remains firm and fast, this course offers holes unlike anything you find elsewhere in the world. While every hole has a spectacular view of the Bay, some play cautiously alongside deep ravines as others intimidate golfers with deep cliff top bunkers and sheer drops off the very edge of the earth.

The golf course is perched on top of 450 ft. cliffs overlooking the entirety of Hawke Bay. Holes run along narrow fingers of land until you find yourself on a green perched, on what seems to be, the edge of the World. The golf course is one of a kind and must be experienced by everyone who has a love for the dramatic.

Windross Golf ClubWindross Farm is a spectacular golf course located only 30 minutes south of the Auckland CBD. Apart from the undulating greens, 38 bunkers and minimal tree presence, the major feature of the course is the water in its many forms with four large lakes interlaced with numerous burns (streams) threading their way in and out of impressive, yet imposing, wetland areas. It is a course that can be challenging or challenged by any level of player on every hole and every shot.

Wairakei International Golf Course – Many find sanctuary on a golf course, but it is rare to find a golf course that is a sanctuary, New Zealand’s Wairakei Golf & Sanctuary is thought to have scored a world first! The ecological restoration is the first of its kind in New Zealand and was prompted by golf course owner Gary Lane’s desire to create a unique environment &where golf and the natural habitat work in harmony. Wairakei Golf & Sanctuary is situated in the Wairakei Tourist Park which is an extraordinary geothermal area just north of Taupo township.

Napier Golf ClubNapier Golf Club Inc “Waiohiki” is the oldest Golf Club in Hawke’s Bay established 1896. Over the years it has been the site of many New Zealand and inter-provincial tournaments, in fact hosting the first ever New Zealand Open in 1907.The Waiohiki links provides an easy walking 18-hole championship course, which is a challenging test of golf for both the beginner and low handicapper.

Maraenui Golf ClubOne of Hawke’s Bay’s finest Golf Courses set in lovely tree lined surrounds just off Marine Parade in Napier. With the gentle sea breeze slipping through the summer sun, you will enjoy your round on these 6,125 metres 18-hole picturesque golf course. Although flat and easy to walk, the course offers tightly sculptured tree lined fairways with creative greens complexes and bunkering for all levels to enjoy.
